Avibras updates information regarding initiatives aimed at resuming operations in March 2026.
After three years marked by mismanagement by the former administration, the Judicial Reorganisation process and the suspension of activities, a Restructuring Plan was drawn up with the contribution of the main creditors. The plan was approved by 99.2% of the creditors present at the General Assembly.
In August 2025, Avibras underwent a change of control, with new management focused on implementing the restructuring plan, which requires the fulfilment of certain precedent conditions.
With regard to the precedent conditions necessary for the resumption of operations, the company reports:
1 - Joint negotiations with the Workers' Union are progressing consistently, guided by dialogue and responsibility between the parties;
2 - Strategic acquisitions by the Brazilian Army are ongoing, awaiting confirmation of the budget for their implementation;
3 - Negotiations on the tax transaction are ongoing, with progress being made with the competent authorities;
4 - The contribution of private funds led by creditors is structured and available;
5 - The Brazilian Government's contribution, in the form of funding, remains undefined.
A Brazilian solution is possible, one that is sustainable and aligned with the interests of workers, customers, creditors and the country, allowing Avibras to resume operations and contributing to the strengthening of sovereignty and national defence.
Avibras reaffirms its commitment to transparency in conducting the restructuring process and will continue to make every effort necessary to enable the safe and sustainable resumption of its operations.
