It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Mr Augusto Coimbra, Captain R/1, on Thursday, January 18. Commander Coimbra, as he was known to all, served as Vice-President Director of Avibras Naval from 1996 to 2020, contributing hard to the development of our company.

He also shared his rich experiences and achievements with us, as well as his valuable knowledge. He also played a key role in Avibras' participation in the Brazilian Navy's strategic projects, including the acquisition of the ASTROS MK6 for the Marine Corps (CFN).

We express our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues who had the opportunity to work with this excellent professional.
