The most critical areas are those in which operations involving the manufacture, handling and storage of explosive raw materials and/or products are undertaken. These buildings are isolated in strategic locations to reduce risks and incorporate passive fire protection employing non-combustible components. All operations involving the movement/handling of explosive raw materials and/or products follow specific safety procedures, with employees who work in critical areas receiving occupational safety training every two years. The 166 employees engaged in critical activities in terms of occupational health and safety are submitted to assessments every six months, while those aged over 35 are also tested for liver function, as well as glucose and blood pressure levels. |
